FAQ

  • What insurance is accepted?
I currently accept Optum Health, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Quest, and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans.
  • Can I pay out-of-pocket?
Yes! I offer competitive self-pay rates for appointments. Sliding scale options are available as well. This can be discussed during a consultation or initial appointment set-up.
  • What if I miss my appointment?
Clients are encouraged to communicate directly with the clinician regarding late-notice schedule changes. There is a $50 late cancellation/no-show fee that is charged for any changes or missed appointments within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
  • What can I expect in my first appointment?
The first appointment is the "get to you know you" session. Topics covered will be practice policies and procedures, an overview of the scheduling process, a brief personal and family history, and discussion about your goals for the counseling process. This is your chance to determine your level of comfort with your counselor. Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all journey, so it is important to assess your comfort and trust level with your new counselor.
